In the spring we had a nest and 4 baby birds by the entry of our house. Those were an exciting couple of weeks, but they all made it o.k. and are now happily flying through the neighborhood! Next year, I would love to provide the parents-to-be a comfy bird house. Somehow that made me think of designing these little bird house earrings, and...here they are!
Lovely little sterling silver bird house earrings, topped off with a grey freshwater pearl.

The sterling silver houses (0.025"/0.63 mm thick = 22 gauge) are handcut by me and my trusty little saw - The edges have been filed smooth and the house has a nice matte hand polished finish.
Materials:
Sterling silver: Ear wires, house pendants, a little under 1/2 inch (12mm) long and 3/8 inches (9mm) wide, jump ring, wire Grey (I am seeing a very slight purple sheen) freshwater pearls, 6mm
Approx. dangle length: 1 1/16 inches (2.7 cm)
These earrings have sterling silver french hooks, but I will be happy to switch them for sterling silver clip ons or sterling silver posts at no extra cost. Please just leave me a note during check-out.
All metal components are solid sterling silver, not plated.
